Purchase and replacement guide
REPLACEMENT TEMPLES
Do you have a broken, worn or damaged temple while the frame and lenses are still in good condition? Replacing the temples can be a simple way to extend the life of your glasses without purchasing a new frame.
In this guide, you will find useful information to identify the correct spare part, check compatibility and replace it. Before starting, we recommend watching our video tutorial, where you can follow every step clearly and visually.
How to choose the correct replacement temple
Temples can vary in shape, length, colour and, above all, in the type of hinge and connection to the frame. It is therefore important to choose a spare part compatible with your specific eyewear model.
Before purchasing:
- Identify the model code printed on the inside of the original temple or on the eyewear packaging.
- Check the temple length, expressed in millimetres and usually shown together with the other frame measurements.
- Check the colour and finish to choose the spare part matching your eyewear variant.
- Always check the compatibility stated on the product page before purchasing.
Do not choose the spare part based only on visual similarity: two apparently identical temples may have different hinges, dimensions or fastening systems.
If the code is no longer legible or you are unsure which spare part is correct, carefully compare the images on the product page or contact our Customer Service, providing as much information as possible about your glasses.
Compatibility and authenticity
The replacement temples in our catalogue are intended for the specific models indicated on the relevant product page.
Depending on the model, temples may be made of acetate, plastic materials, metal or combinations of different materials. Colour, finish, length and fastening system may vary even between versions of the same model.
For this reason, always check the compatibility information on the spare-part page before purchasing.
How to replace eyewear temples
To replace a temple, you need a small precision screwdriver, flat-head or Phillips depending on the screw used in the hinge.

Before proceeding, watch our video tutorial on replacing temples.
In general:
- Open the temple and locate the screw connecting it to the frame hinge.
- Use the appropriate screwdriver to gently loosen the screw.
- Remove the temple to be replaced.
- Position the new temple, correctly aligning the hinge holes.
- Reinsert the screw and tighten it gently without overtightening.
If the screw resists or the components are not perfectly aligned during replacement, do not force them, as this could damage the hinge or thread.
