GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
1. Identification and contact information
The products for sale on https://www.vistaexpert.it/ (hereinafter referred to as the "Website") are sold and invoiced by MEETING s.r.l. UNIPERSONALE (hereinafter "Meeting"), located at Via Pozzillo Zona Industriale Ponteselice – 81100 Caserta (CE), a company registered with the Chamber of Commerce of Caserta under no. REA 208683 of the Business Register, VAT number 02964400614.
For any information regarding orders, shipments, and, more generally, purchases, you can contact the Vistaexpert customer service through the contact form in the "Contact Us" section of the Website.
2. Nature of the service
Meeting provides sunglasses, prescription glasses, and accessories for glasses purchased directly from manufacturers and authorized retailers. Meeting does not sell used, irregular, or lower quality products than the corresponding standards offered on the market.
3. Acceptance of the general sales conditions and conclusion of the contract
3.1. The contract concluded between Meeting and the Customer (i.e., the individual, natural person, making the purchase on the Website, not attributable to their commercial, entrepreneurial, or professional activity) shall be deemed concluded upon acceptance of the order by Meeting. In case of non-acceptance of the order, Meeting will promptly notify the Customer.
3.2. By placing an order through the various methods provided, according to the order form on the Website (hereinafter the "Order"), the Customer declares to have read all the information provided during the purchasing process and fully accepts these general sales conditions (hereinafter the "Conditions").
3.3. These Conditions may be printed or saved on durable media, in compliance with the provisions of art. 12 of Legislative Decree no. 70/2003 and art. 51 of Legislative Decree no. 206/2005, as amended by Legislative Decree no. 21/2014.
4. Purchasing methods
4.1. The products offered for sale by Meeting are exclusively those available on the Website at the time of placing the Order, as described in the respective information sheets.
4.2. It is understood, in any case, that the images accompanying the product description sheet are for informational purposes only and may not perfectly represent its characteristics but may differ, for example, in color and size (also due to the browser and monitor used to access the Website and view the images).
4.3. To place an Order, the Customer must complete the corresponding form on the Website in its entirety and send it after carefully reviewing the Conditions, as well as the characteristics of the product and/or products they intend to purchase. The Customer must also request from Meeting, if desired, the issuance of a tax invoice relating to the purchase, pursuant to art. 22 of Presidential Decree no. 633/1972.
4.4. The correct receipt of the Order is confirmed by Meeting through an email response sent to the email address provided by the Customer. This confirmation message will briefly summarize the purchase conditions, as required by applicable law, as well as the data entered in the Order, so that the Customer can verify them and promptly communicate any necessary corrections to incorrect data.
4.5. The purchase of contact lenses is only for those who already use contact lenses. By confirming the order, the buyer declares that this is not their first purchase and that they do not have any tolerance problems in using contact lenses.
4.6. The purchase of custom prescription lenses is made through contact with our customer service, to which the prescription and desired frame must be sent. Our team of opticians will send a quote proposal, after acceptance of which the Customer will receive a link to purchase the pair of lenses and frame, selecting the desired payment method.
5. Prices and Payment Methods
5.1. The prices displayed on the Website are inclusive of taxes and VAT. Any applicable shipping costs or payment fees will be communicated to the Customer in advance through the Website or these Terms and Conditions.
5.2. The following payment methods are available:
- Credit Card: When purchasing with a credit card, the transaction will be processed via the secure Shopify Payments server or another secure server selected by Meeting. Under no circumstances and at no stage of the payment process will Meeting have access to the Customer’s credit card information, as these details are transmitted securely and directly to the banking institution managing the transaction. No IT system operated by Meeting will store such data, and therefore Meeting cannot be held liable for any fraudulent or improper use of credit cards by third parties during the payment process.
- Payment via PayPal, Google Pay, and Apple Pay: The Customer can use the PayPal system or other specified methods to complete the payment process.
- Installment Payment with PayPal, Scalapay, and Klarna: These financing options allow the Customer to purchase and immediately receive the products while paying in 3 or 4 equal monthly installments.
- Bank Transfer: When purchasing via bank transfer, the Customer will receive the payment details after placing the order. The shipment of goods will occur only after the payment has been successfully received (submission of the payment receipt is not sufficient proof). Although the indicated shipping times are 24 hours, Meeting reserves the right to cancel the order if the bank transfer has not been credited within 10 days of order confirmation. A cancellation notice will be sent to the Customer's email address as provided during the order process.
6. Product Availability, Delivery, and Related Costs
6.1. For each product listed on the Website, its availability and estimated shipping date are indicated with the following terms:
- Immediate availability: The product is available in our central warehouse, and shipment is carried out within 24 hours.
- 2 working days: The product is available in our retail stores, and shipment is carried out within 2 working days.
- 8 working days: The product is not available in our central warehouse and is ordered from our suppliers. Generally, the product will be shipped within this timeframe. However, if the product is unavailable from our suppliers (product restocking), we will contact the Customer to provide information about the waiting time and offer the option to wait, cancel the order, or replace the product. If the Customer does not respond, Meeting will cancel the order and refund the total amount within 21 (twenty-one) days from the order date, notifying the Customer via email at the address provided.
- Out of stock: The product is no longer in production and is not available for purchase.
6.2. For orders placed from Friday after 2:00 PM until Sunday or on public holidays, order processing will begin on the next working day. In such cases, shipping times will be calculated from the start of order processing.
6.3. For orders including prescription glasses with customized lenses, the processing of lenses at our laboratory requires approximately 4-5 working days.
6.4. Purchased products will be shipped to the address provided by the Customer in the Order within the timeframe indicated on the product page, starting from the acceptance of the Order by Meeting, and at the shipping cost specifically displayed on the Website prior to order submission. Meeting reserves the right not to proceed with the shipment of goods, even after accepting the order, in the event of anomalies in the received order or incorrect calculated amounts. For deliveries outside Italy, shipping costs and delivery times may vary.
6.5. For deliveries requested to countries outside the European Union, any customs duties or import taxes will be borne by the recipient. Customers are encouraged to contact their local customs authorities in advance to verify costs and any import restrictions.
6.6. Delivery times indicated by Meeting are purely indicative and subject to factors that may make precise determination impossible. Delays in delivery do not entitle the Customer to refuse delivery or claim compensation or reimbursement.
6.7. Shipping times are calculated only after payment has been received, not from the receipt of the order. For payments via bank transfer, shipping will only occur after the payment has been effectively credited (submission of the payment receipt does not suffice). We do not guarantee the shipping times initially indicated on the product page when orders are paid via bank transfer.
6.8. If a package is returned to the sender due to a failed delivery, Meeting will contact the Customer to arrange a new shipment. In such cases, the shipping costs will be borne by the Customer. If the Customer does not respond within a reasonable time frame, Meeting will cancel the order and refund the amount paid, net of shipping costs, within 21 (twenty-one) days from the order date. Notification of the cancellation and refund will be sent to the email address provided by the Customer.
6.9. Meeting reserves the right to modify or update the products offered on the Website at any time, without prior notice.
7. Responsibility
7.1. All products are carefully checked by Meeting before shipping to ensure their integrity. Upon delivery of the products, the Customer is required to check:
- that the packaging is intact, not damaged, wet, or otherwise altered, including closure materials (e.g., adhesive tape).
- verify that the products are intact and correspond to what was ordered.
Any anomalies and damages to the packaging and/or the product must be immediately reported by placing a specific reservation on the delivery document to be returned to the courier.
7.2. If the products do not correspond to those ordered, the Customer is required to inform Meeting promptly through the contact form in the "Contact Us" section of the Website and has the right to demand execution of the order, upon return of what was received, or, in case of subsequent unavailability of the ordered products, to order different items of the same nature or, alternatively, to be reimbursed for any price difference or to cancel the order.
7.3. Meeting is not responsible for delayed and/or failed delivery of the product for which the courier used is responsible.
8. Right of Withdrawal
8.1. Pursuant to Article 52 of Legislative Decree No. 206/2005, as amended by Legislative Decree No. 21/2014, the Customer may withdraw from these Terms and from the purchase contract for any reason, without the need to provide a justification and without penalty, within 14 (fourteen) days from the date of receipt of the products.
8.2. In accordance with Article 55, paragraph 2, letter c) of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal (pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 206/2005) or cancellation does not apply to orders for personalized products (customized and prescription lenses).
8.3. To exercise the right of withdrawal as referred to in the previous Article 8.1, the Customer must send Meeting a communication stating the order number, within the indicated time frame, via the contact form in the “Contact Us” section of the Site or through the self-service option from their customer account.
8.4. In the event of exercising the right of withdrawal, the Customer will receive an email from Meeting containing the return label and instructions for preparing and sending the package to Meeting within 7 (seven) days from the label creation date. If the Customer decides to send the return independently, it will be their responsibility to ensure that the shipment is successful. Meeting reserves the right to refuse returns sent beyond the indicated time frame or invalidate expired shipping labels, i.e., those not used within 7 (seven) days of creation.
8.5. The goods must be returned intact, complete with all parts, and in their original packaging, stored and used only for the time strictly necessary to ascertain and verify their nature, features, color, and size, with normal care, and without signs of wear or dirt, in compliance with the following conditions:
- the right of withdrawal may apply to the purchased product in its entirety;
- the right of withdrawal may apply only to sunglasses and eyeglass frames available on the Site. Customized and prescription lenses are excluded.
- for withdrawal to be possible, the product must be intact and returned in its original packaging, complete with all parts (including packaging, case, warranty seal, any information notes, or other documentation and accessories);
- any customs fees (if present) for the return of the goods will be borne exclusively by the Customer and will be deducted from the refund amount.
In the case of self-managed returns, the Customer assumes full responsibility for the shipment until confirmation of receipt at the warehouse indicated by Meeting. Any damage to the product during shipping will be communicated by Meeting to the Customer, who may promptly file a claim with the selected courier and request a refund. In such cases, the product will be made available to the Customer, and the withdrawal request will be canceled. Meeting will not be responsible for damage, theft, or loss occurring during shipping or in connection with it.
8.6. Meeting will refund the Customer the entire amount already paid within 15 (fifteen) working days from the receipt of the product, using the same payment method used by the Customer for the initial transaction.
8.7. In any case, the Customer will lose the right of withdrawal if Meeting determines that:
- the returned product and/or its accessories, and/or its packaging are not intact (e.g., damaged, deteriorated, and/or dirty);
- the product is missing its outer packaging and/or original internal packaging (e.g., without the warranty seal);
- the product is missing integral elements or accessories (e.g., case, microfiber cloth, etc.)
In case of withdrawal right forfeiture, Meeting will return the purchased product to the sender, charging, where applicable, the price of the product if already refunded. Shipping costs will be borne by the Customer. At Meeting’s discretion, a partial refund may be offered to the Customer.
If no response is received from the Customer, Meeting will hold the package in storage for a maximum of 30 (thirty) days, after which it will be disposed of.
9. Purchase of Vistaexpert Digital Gift Card
9.1. The Vistaexpert Digital Gift Card is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. After expiration, any remaining balance will no longer be usable or refundable.
9.2. The Gift Card can only be used for the purchase of products available on the Site. It is not valid for the purchase of services or products offered by third parties or outside the Site.
9.3. The balance of the Digital Gift Card cannot be converted into cash, either in whole or in part, including any unused balance.
9.4. In the event of partial use of the Gift Card, the remaining balance will be available for future purchases within the validity period. After expiration, any unused balance will no longer be usable or refundable.
9.5. Meeting.it is not responsible for the loss, theft, or unauthorized use of the Gift Card code. It is advised to keep the received code secure and verify the recipient's email address at the time of purchase.
9.6. The Digital Gift Card cannot be used to purchase other gift cards or equivalent instruments.
9.7. The purchase and use of the Gift Card imply full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Meeting reserves the right to modify the Terms and Conditions at any time by posting the changes on the official website.
10. Warranties
10.1. All products sold by Meeting are covered by the legal warranty of conformity from the manufacturer for a period of 24 (twenty-four) months from the date of product delivery for conformity defects, in accordance with Title III of Legislative Decree No. 206/2005. To benefit from warranty assistance, the Customer must keep the invoice or payment receipt, along with the delivery document, and file a formal complaint using the contact form in the “Contact Us” section of the Site within a maximum of 2 (two) months from the discovery of the defect.
10.2. The warranty for conformity defects applies provided the product has been used correctly, in accordance with its intended purpose and the user and maintenance instructions provided with the product.
10.3. Following the report, in case of non-compliance of the products, the Customer is entitled to have it repaired free of charge, either by replacing it with an identical or equivalent product, or by requesting a return.
10.4. In cases where the warranty requires product return, the product must be returned by the Customer in its original packaging, complete with all parts (including packaging and any documentation and accessories).

12. Privacy
12.1. The personal data collected upon submission of the Order will be processed by Meeting solely to fulfill the Customer's express requests, in compliance with EU Regulation 2016/679 and the privacy policy available on the Site. Any further processing will be carried out only with the express consent of the Customer.
13. Applicable Law
13.1. The sales contract under these Terms and the related performance is governed by Italian Law, excluding conflict of law rules and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For the resolution of related disputes, the Court of the Customer's place of residence shall have jurisdiction.
13.2. We would like to inform you that the European Commission provides a platform for alternative dispute resolution, including cross-border disputes, available on the Site http://ec.europa.eu/odr.
