UNIPERSONALE (hereinafter "Meeting"), registered office at Via Pozzillo Zona Industriale Ponteselice – 81100 Caserta (CE), registered with the Chamber of Commerce of Caserta under REA No. 208683, Tax Code and VAT No. 02964400614.
For any enquiries regarding orders, shipping, or purchases generally, customers may contact Vistaexpert customer services via the contact form in the "Contact Us" section of the Website.
2. Nature of the service
Meeting supplies sunglasses, prescription eyewear, and eyewear accessories sourced directly from fashion houses, manufacturers, and authorised distributors. Meeting does not sell used, irregular, or substandard products.
3. Acceptance of the general conditions of sale and conclusion of the contract
3.1. The contract between Meeting and the Customer (meaning the individual consumer making a purchase on the Website for purposes unrelated to any trade, business, craft, or profession) shall be deemed concluded upon Meeting's acceptance of the order. In the event that Meeting is unable to accept an order, the Customer shall be promptly notified.
3.2. By placing an order through the order form on the Website (hereinafter the "Order"), the Customer confirms having reviewed all information provided during the purchase process and accepts these General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter the "Terms") in their entirety.
3.3. These Terms may be printed or saved to a durable medium, in accordance with Article 12 of Legislative Decree No. 70/2003 and Article 51 of Legislative Decree No. 206/2005, as amended by Legislative Decree No. 21/2014.
4. Purchase methods
4.1. The products offered for sale by Meeting are exclusively those listed on the Website at the time the Order is submitted, as described in the relevant product information pages.
4.2. Product images are provided for illustrative purposes only and may not be a fully accurate representation of the item's characteristics; colours and dimensions in particular may differ depending on the browser and monitor used to access the Website.
4.3. To place an Order, the Customer must complete the order form in full and submit it after carefully reviewing the Terms as well as the characteristics of the product(s) being purchased. The Customer may also request that Meeting issue a formal tax invoice in respect of the purchase, pursuant to Article 22 of Presidential Decree No. 633/1972.
4.4. Successful receipt of the Order will be confirmed by Meeting via email sent to the address provided by the Customer. The confirmation email will summarise the purchase conditions as required by applicable law, and will include the details entered in the Order so that the Customer may verify them and promptly notify Meeting of any corrections required.
4.5. Contact lenses are sold exclusively to persons who are already established contact lens wearers. By confirming the order, the purchaser declares that this is not their first purchase of contact lenses and that they have no known intolerance to contact lens wear.
4.6. The purchase of custom-made prescription lenses is carried out via our customer service team, to whom the customer must submit their optical prescription and specify the desired frame. Our team of opticians will provide a quotation which, once accepted, will be followed by a payment link for the purchase of the lenses and frame, with the customer's preferred payment method.
5. Prices and methods of payment
5.1. All prices displayed on the Website are inclusive of applicable taxes and VAT. Any applicable shipping costs or payment fees will be communicated to the Customer in advance, via the Website or these Terms.
5.2. The following payment methods are accepted:
- Credit card: Credit card transactions are processed through Shopify Payments' secure server or another secure server selected by Meeting. At no stage of the payment process will Meeting have access to the Customer's card details, which are transmitted via encrypted connection directly to the banking institution managing the transaction. No card data is stored in Meeting's systems, and Meeting shall not be held liable for any fraudulent or unauthorised use of credit cards by third parties at the time of payment.
- Payment with Paypal, Google Pay and Apple Pay:The Customer may use PayPal, Google Pay, or Apple Pay in accordance with the terms and conditions of those respective services.
- Instalment payments via PayPal, Scalapay, and Klarna: These financing solutions allow the Customer to purchase and receive products immediately while paying in 3 or 4 equal monthly instalments.
- Bank transfer: Where payment is made by bank transfer, the Customer will be provided with the relevant bank details after placing the order. Goods will only be dispatched upon actual receipt of cleared funds (proof of payment dispatch is not sufficient), notwithstanding any estimated shipping timeframes of 24 hours. If cleared funds are not received within 10 days of order acceptance, Meeting will cancel the order and notify the Customer by email.
6. Product availability, delivery and related expenses
6.1. Each product listed on the Website includes an indicative availability status and estimated dispatch date, described using the following terminology:
- In stock: the product is available in our central warehouse and will be dispatched within 24 hours.
- Available in "X" working days: the product is not held in our central warehouse and must be ordered from our suppliers. The product will generally be dispatched within the timeframe indicated on the product page at the time of purchase. However, should the product be unavailable from our suppliers (e.g. on back-order), we will contact the Customer to advise of the expected wait time and offer the options of waiting, cancelling the order, or substituting the product. In the absence of a response from the Customer, Meeting will cancel the order and refund the full purchase amount within 21 (twenty-one) days of the order date, with notification sent to the Customer's registered email address.
- Out of stock:the product has been discontinued and is not available for purchase.
6.2. Orders received from Friday after 14:00 through Sunday, or on public holidays, will be processed from the next working day. Estimated shipping times are calculated from the commencement of order processing.
6.3. For all orders including prescription frames with custom-made lenses, the manufacturing process at our laboratory takes approximately 4–5 working days.
6.4. Purchased products will be dispatched to the delivery address specified by the Customer in the Order within the timeframe indicated on the product page from the date of order acceptance by Meeting, at the shipping cost stated on the Website prior to submission of the Order. Meeting reserves the right to withhold dispatch, even after order acceptance, in the event of anomalies or pricing errors. For deliveries outside Italy, shipping costs and delivery times may be subject to variation.
6.5. For deliveries to countries outside the European Union, any applicable import duties and customs charges shall be borne by the recipient. Customers are advised to contact their national customs authority in advance to verify applicable costs and any import restrictions.
6.6. Delivery times stated by Meeting are indicative only and are subject to factors beyond Meeting's control. Any delay shall not entitle the Customer to refuse delivery or to claim compensation or damages.
6.7. Shipping times are calculated from the date of confirmed payment, not from the date of order receipt. In the case of bank transfer, dispatch will only occur upon actual receipt of cleared funds (proof of dispatch of the transfer is not sufficient). Meeting does not guarantee the shipping times originally indicated on the product page once a bank transfer is received.
6.8. In the event that a parcel is returned to sender due to a failed delivery, Meeting will contact the Customer to arrange re-delivery. In such cases, shipping costs shall be borne by the Customer. If the Customer fails to respond within a reasonable period, Meeting will cancel the order and issue a refund of the purchase price, less shipping costs, within 21 (twenty-one) days of the order date. Notification of cancellation and refund will be sent to the email address provided by the Customer.
6.9. Meeting reserves the right to modify or update the products offered on the Website at any time, without prior notice.
7. Liability
7.1. All products are carefully inspected by Meeting prior to dispatch to ensure they are in good condition. Upon delivery, the Customer is required to check: that the packaging is intact, undamaged, dry, and unaltered, including all sealing materials (e.g. adhesive tape); and that the products are complete and correspond to those ordered. Any visible damage or anomalies must be noted immediately by recording a specific written reservation on the delivery document to be returned to the courier.
7.2. If the products received do not correspond to those ordered, the Customer must promptly notify Meeting via the contact form in the "Contact Us" section of the Website and is entitled to demand fulfilment of the order (subject to return of the items received), or — where the ordered products are no longer available — to substitute them with other items of the same nature, to receive a refund for any price difference, or to cancel the order.
7.3. Meeting shall not be liable for any delayed or failed delivery where such delay or failure is attributable to the carrier.
8. Right of withdrawal
8.1. In accordance with Article 52 of Legislative Decree No. 206/2005, as amended by Legislative Decree No. 21/2014, the Customer may withdraw from these Terms and consequently from the purchase contract, for any reason and without incurring any penalty, within 14 (fourteen) days of receipt of the products.
8.2. Pursuant to Article 55(2)(c) of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal (as provided under Legislative Decree No. 206/2005) does not apply to orders for personalised products, including custom-made and prescription lenses.
8.3. To exercise the right of withdrawal referred to in Article 8.1 above, the Customer must notify Meeting accordingly, specifying the relevant order number, within the prescribed timeframe, via the contact form in the "Contact Us" section of the Website or through the self-service option in their customer account.
8.4. Upon exercise of the right of withdrawal, Meeting will send the Customer an email containing a return label and instructions for preparing and dispatching the parcel to Meeting within 7 (seven) days of the label's creation date. Where the Customer arranges the return shipment independently, they assume full responsibility for ensuring its successful completion. Meeting reserves the right to refuse returns dispatched beyond the stated timeframe or to invalidate shipping labels not used within 7 (seven) days of their creation.
8.5. All returned items must be in their original, undamaged condition, complete with all component parts and in their original packaging, having been handled only to the extent necessary to assess their nature, characteristics, colour, and size, exercising due care, and showing no signs of wear or soiling. The following conditions apply:
- the right of withdrawal applies to the product purchased in its entirety;
- the right of withdrawal applies exclusively to sunglasses and prescription frames listed on the Website; custom-made and prescription lenses are excluded;
- to be eligible for return, the product must be in its original packaging, complete with all components (including box, case, warranty seal, any instruction leaflet or other documentation, and all accessories);
- any customs duties applicable to the return shipment shall be borne exclusively by the Customer and will be deducted from the refund amount.
Where the return is arranged independently by the Customer, they assume full responsibility for the shipment until confirmed receipt at the warehouse designated by Meeting. Any damage to the product in transit will be communicated to the Customer, who may then file a claim with the carrier of their choosing and request the relevant compensation. In such cases, the product will be made available to the Customer and the withdrawal request will be cancelled. Meeting accepts no liability for damage, theft, or loss occurring during or in connection with the return shipment.
8.6. Meeting will refund the full amount paid by the Customer within 15 (fifteen) working days of receipt of the returned product, by way of a reversal charge using the same payment method used for the original transaction.
8.7. The right of withdrawal shall be forfeited in all cases where Meeting ascertains that:
- the returned product and/or its accessories and/or its packaging are not in their original condition (e.g. damaged, deteriorated, or soiled);
- the product is missing its outer packaging and/or original inner packaging (e.g. warranty seal absent);
- or the product is missing any integral components or accessories (e.g. case, cleaning cloth, etc.).
In the event that the right of withdrawal is forfeited, Meeting will return the product to the sender, and where a refund has already been issued, will re-charge the product price. Shipping costs are payable by the Customer. At Meeting's discretion, a partial refund may be offered.
In the absence of a response from the Customer, Meeting will hold the parcel for a maximum of 30 (thirty) days, after which it will be disposed of.
9. Purchase of Vistaexpert digital gift card
9.1. Vistaexpert Digital Gift Card is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Upon expiry, any remaining balance will be forfeited and will not be eligible for redemption or refund.
9.2. Gift Cards may only be used for the purchase of products available on the Website. They are not valid for the purchase of services or products offered by third parties or outside the Website.
9.3. The balance of a Digital Gift Card may not be converted into cash, either in whole or in part, including any unused residual balance.
9.4. In the event of partial use, the remaining Gift Card balance will remain available for future purchases within the validity period. After expiry, any remaining balance will be forfeited and cannot be redeemed or refunded.
9.5. Meeting shall not be liable for the loss, theft, or unauthorised use of a Gift Card code. Customers are advised to keep the code received in a safe place and to verify the recipient's email address at the time of purchase.
9.6. Digital Gift Cards may not be used to purchase other gift cards or equivalent instruments.
9.7. The purchase and use of a Gift Card constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions in full. Meeting reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions at any time, with changes published on the official Website.
10. Warranties
10.1. All products sold by Meeting are covered by the statutory legal guarantee of conformity for a period of 24 (twenty-four) months from the date of delivery, in respect of defects of conformity, pursuant to Title III of Legislative Decree No. 206/2005. To make a warranty claim, the Customer must retain the invoice or proof of payment together with the delivery note, and must submit a formal complaint via the contact form in the "Contact Us" section of the Website within a maximum period of 2 (two) months from the date on which the defect was discovered.
10.2. The warranty for defects of conformity shall apply provided the product has been used correctly, in accordance with its intended purpose and with the care and maintenance instructions supplied with or accompanying the product.
10.3. Following notification of a defect, in the event of non-conformity, the Customer shall be entitled to have the product remedied free of charge, by means of replacement with an identical or equivalent item, or to request a return.
10.4. Where the application of warranty provisions requires the return of the product, the Customer must return it in its original packaging, complete with all components (including packaging and any documentation and accessories supplied with the product).
